Celebrating Bluegrass Music and The Art of Quilting
Are you a fan of Bluegrass music, quilting, or a spending a Saturday day outside in beautiful surroundings? Then join The Floor Store at Thornebrook Village on Saturday, November 21st for the Quilt & Bluegrass festival.
A joint effort of the Quilters of Alachua County Day Guild and the Tree City Quilters’ Guild and hosted among the trees and shops of Thornebrook Village in Gainesville. Live music, food, a crisp fall day (hopefully), and beautiful quilts for sale. Support our local economy of exceptional businesses, and talented craftspeople and musicians.
Quilters of Alachua County and surrounding counties will be represented, with some for quilts for display and others for sale. “White glove” services will be provided for those wishing to take a closer look to better understand the types and techniques involved in making a quilt.
