We switched the entire house from ten year old 12mm laminate flooring to 5.5mm luxury vinyl plank. Mace and his... assistants did our installation which included chipping out all of the tile in our kitchen and the work they did was as absolutely perfect. I am admittedly extremely picky, detail oriented, and hard to please and they even met/exceeded my expectations. They were amazing about moving all of our stuff so they could get to the areas they were working on and it was as stress free as possible plus nothing was damaged. The flooring looks amazing and everything was left perfectly clean when they were done. I wish I could give more than just five stars!read more

I had LVP installed throughout my house by The Floor Store. It was a great experience from the first visit to the store... to the replacement of my furniture after the install was complete. Milad and Hannah in the store are friendly, very knowledgeable, and provided excellent guidance and information. The installer, Mace, and his crew were excellent. Very respectful of the property and the install was excellent, paying attention to detail and even cleaning up at the end of each day. Milad, the owner, stopped by each day to check on the progress. We could have not asked for a better experience in the re-carpeting of our three bedrooms. From our initial visit to... the Floor Store Milad was attentive, responsive and very professional. We chose our carpet, it arrived in about a week and within a three week period it was purchased and installed. Elliott did a great job installing the carpet and cleaned up after each room was completed. He also assisted me a bit in getting my lamps plugged back in, etc.If you are looking for new flooring and desire a personal experience with a business owner who cares about you as a customer and not like you are simply a “nobody” like they do at the big box store.....you should choose to work with Milad and The Floor Store. We found his choices to be plentiful and excellent quality, backed with guarantees and his prices compatible with other floor stores.The difference in working with Milad...is that he will take the time to check in often and make sure you are completely satisfied after the project is completed. Milad was very helpful in helping us pick out a color selection that matched our cabinets. We wanted to move fast in... the selection and ordering process. There was a cancellation the same day that we visited the store and Milad asked if we'd like him to come out and measure after the store closed. That was fast service. The installer did an excellent and professional job. It's amazing that he can move all the furniture by himself. The floors look great and I would recommend The Floor Store to everyone.read more

We have used The Floor Store at Thornebrooke 3 separate times with redecorating a 20 year old house. We have gotten... tile and wood floors. Most recently we had the upstairs carpet removed and replaced with wood flooring. Milad did an excellent job matching our new wood with the wood that was already down. He was very time efficient with us and helpful. After he quoted a price for the same brand that was down on another part of the house, he found a matching wood floor that was $600 less expensive. We were very happy with that! The staff he used to put the new wood flooring down were on time, reliable, pleasant and did a great job. As soon as the flooring came in, they started working in our house and came when they said they would come. They were very time efficient. Since we do not really start the purchase and just check inventory and did a estimation in the property, so it is hard... to give a full review about the service. First of all, it is OK to purchase floor and service from here since they do carry some good brands and products, and service fee is pretty fair.Update: Our existing old floor was installed by this store, and we found several installation flaws during these past 3 years. It is hard to say if they really did a perfect job at the time for the previous owner, so I reduce one star for my review at this point.read more

After shopping a few other flooring stores in Gainesville and being underwhelmed with the service and prices we visited... Milad at the Floor Store at Thronebrook. He was very helpful guiding us through the selection of our floors as well as the order, delivery and installation. We had a pretty big job replacing all the flooring in our new home and had already contracted a separate company to install the tile. Milad coordinated everything seamlessly, happily ordered replacements for a few cases of tile that were damaged and even delivered us a roll of protective paper for our move-in. There is a reason for all these FIVE star reviews. After a brief bad experience with a big box store, I drove to the... Floor store where Steve immediately pointed me to the exact match for my wood floors, the flooring arrived in four days, and the floor was installed within the week. Amazing. Manny, the installer, is a real craftsman. It is nearly impossible to find this level of expertise anymore. The floors are gorgeous. Highly recommend. They certainly are going to be my first stop for my next floor or tile project.read more

Had a wonderful experience with getting a wood laminate floor installed in my small home office (about 144 square... feet). The owner, Milad, was extremely knowledgeable about all different types of flooring. The other flooring retailers that I checked out (one was Home Depot) did not have the breadth of knowledge, nor were they as competitive on pricing. We went in on a Saturday, picked out the flooring and even with a holiday (Memorial day) the next week, my flooring was delivered on Friday of that week (it had to sit for at least 48 hours in my home to acclimate the boards) and installation was on the next Monday. I was very impressed that Milad was able to accomodate our tight time-frame for the floor install. Milad and his employee were professional, courteous, and neat and did a fantastic job installing my beautiful new Kaindl brand wood laminate (CARB 2 compliant and GREENGAURD certified) flooring. I love it! Highly recommend.read more
